I will be with the Stranger Creek Band at two new venues, one on Sept. the 18th at JDs Dance Hall in Leavenworth KS from 7:30 till 11:00PM , and the other on Sept. the 25th at the Jewel on Main in Tonganoxie KS  from 7:00 till 11:00 PM both of them very nice venues.d83f078609ff567ba1a62ce5e7abe171_lg

The Stranger Creek Band will be the house band at the High Noon Saloon in Tonganoxie KS July 25 from 12pm till 4 pm for The National Cowboy Day show. With 3 Trails West, Susie Knight, Rusty Rierson, Del Shields, Kristyn Harris and Stephanie Layne. Sunflower Arts Festival

Rosie and I have been invited back to Sunflower Arts Festival this year and we are very honored. We performed for them last year and had a great time and everyone seemed to enjoy our show. The Show will be the weekend of Sept. the 26th and 27th at The Barn on Kill Creek here in DeSoto KS. Rosie and I will perform on Sunday the 27th from 10-12am we hope to see you there. A Star is Born

MARX544 - CopyOn New Years Day Rosie and I along with Garry and Mary Bichelmeyer went to Avila college to see Maggie Marx in a production of Foot Loose and to say the least it was wonderful. Maggie was more than great as Rusty, the girl friend of the shy cowboy character Willard, who was also great. It was amazing to see all of the young kids as they sang and danced with such precision and with only a few weeks to rehearse. Naturally we kept a close eye on Maggie as some of you know she has performed with The Stranger Creek Band many times (to every ones delight). She is well on her way to becoming a fine actress, her expressions and timing were spot on. I just know someday we will see her on Broadway or in the movies or both. Maggie is in productions of different shows around town if you get a chance, go watch her perform and see if you don’t agree she is already a real pro……
