Yesterday April 9th was my brothers birthday. His daughter Leah ask me to sing a song for him one that he liked or one he asked me to sing and I remember how we used to laugh together and tell jokes sometimes we would call each other, and without even a hello we would start telling the joke we had just heard. Then I remembered him and I listening to this song on my Sony stereo and how he laughed. maybe because we both had spent a night in jail for some minor reason or other. So I thought of Tom Ts song “A Week in a Country Jail”. This is for J.D. and I’ll always remember how we laughed together and how I miss him.
